This great historic DESTI-Film documentary, produced in cooperation with the Swiss Rail Authority SBB, graphically depicts the Great Jubilee Parade in Lausanne celebrating 150 years of Swiss Railways. On a beautiful warm Sunday in June 1997 thousands of enthusiastic rail fans watched the presentation of 60 historic locomotives.
Five DESTI-Film teams covered this event along the beautiful landscape at Lake Bieler and Neuenburger lake. Thanks to imaginative and sometimes daring camera positions (from the cab or a specially constructed dray) they were able to shoot amazing pictures of these unique and priceless machines.
