Who we are and what we do Founded in early 1984, German Impex International, Inc. is the home of PantoffelKino, the leading German-language DVD label in North America. Volks Video International, a division of German Impex International, Inc., handles all PantoffelKino retail sales. The majority of its clientele are German-speaking individuals living in North America. Rail-Trails International, “Your Rail Connection to the Rest of the World”, is yet another sales entity. These excellent DVD productions were filmed in many parts of the world and are a pure delight for railroad enthusiasts of all ages. We also offer a number of selected DVD titles for German Departments of High Schools and Universities, titles such as “Marx & Coca Cola”, “Schulz & Schulz 1 & 2”. The Goethe Institute called some of our productions “Lieblingsspeise für Deutsch-Schüler”. We thank all our many wonderful friends and clients who made us possible.
